Angry and afraid because the Great Energy doesn't come anymore from that simple spring. Something like : "She is a cheater, a liar, selfishly manipulative! And she abused me!! I cry... But I never told it in her eyes. Why not? Maybe because as I looked in her eyes I saw the Light and forgot about all my pain, anger and fear, about all my shallow thoughts on the surface. Did my life change by her? I have got my most beautiful, meaningful moments from her or at least with her. So after all maybe acceptable..." But at this moment some sort of unpatient anger comes to the surface and washes these half-deep thoughts away for She left, the student is alone and feels not ready to become the Master yet though she must. Fear of loosing the material things for achieving the higher. It's more simple to blame somebody else and (of course arguable) secure for the brain. In time the tension eases and the teachings have place to ripen. A great student abandoned by the Master for some reason often feels like that.

Now that’s a very good question. I personally feel that I keep playing because life is just a big game. Actually, you might know the term “Homo ludens” or the player (wo)man. It’s nother paradox: to take life really seriously is actually to refuse to take it seriously at all. The question is: is that manipulation? I believe if someone can be manipulated it means they want to be manipulated themselves.

Edo, where are you from? Have you read The Witch of Portobello or parts of it yet? (I mean in Spanish or Portugese like here on the blogsite.)
